Completing a shared pack
Open a pack sent to you, enter its access code, fill in its forms, read or sign its documents and do any induction.
A company may send you a Maliru pack of forms and documents. You complete it in your browser. You don't need an account and you don't join the company's workspace.
Open the link and enter the code
For a personal invitation, open the link in the sender's email. Your six-digit access code comes in a separate email. Check the sender, company and pack title, then under Enter your access code type the code and choose Continue.
For an open link, the page says Join with your code. Enter Your full name, Your email and the code given with the link, then Continue. A pack with an induction in it also asks for Your company (if you work for one). Use your own details, because your answers and signatures are recorded against them. An open link is meant for a group, and a personal invitation is for the person it was sent to.
Complete each item
The pack lists what is needed and your progress.
- Forms: choose Fill in (or Continue for one you have started), answer the questions, attach any files asked for, and Submit. Required questions are starred. Files you upload are limited to 10 MB each.
- Documents may offer:
- Open, to read or download the document.
- Mark as read, to record that you have read it.
- Sign, which opens Sign {document}. Choose Open the document to read it, enter Your full name, tap the box under Draw your signature to sign on a full-screen pad and choose Done, and confirm the statement shown before choosing Sign.
- Signed copy, once you have signed it.
- An induction: work through its steps in order, such as reading a document, watching a video, filling in a form and signing a declaration. Steps that happen in person are marked as done on site. When the last step is done, the page says "Induction complete. Your certificate is on its way by email."
Read every document before you mark it read or sign it. Ask the sender about anything unclear.
When every required item is done, the page says All done — thank you. Your part is finished, but a form that needs the company's review may still be waiting for their decision. If the sender chose to email copies, you receive a PDF of what you completed.
Keep a connection while you work
The page saves your progress to the company as you go, while you are connected. It doesn't use the Maliru app's drafts or offline sending. Keep the page open with a working signal, wait for each upload and submission to be confirmed, and don't expect unsent answers to survive closing the browser.
If your session ends, the page asks for the code again. If the sender has reminded you or sent a new link, use the newest one.
If access fails
- That code is not right: check it is the code for this pack. Your normal sign-in code for any app, or a code for another pack, won't work.
- Too many wrong codes: a personal link locks for 15 minutes after five wrong tries. Wait, or ask the sender for a new link and code.
- This link has expired: ask the sender for a new pack.
- This link has been withdrawn: the sender has closed it. Contact them if you were expecting to complete it.
- This link is not valid: check the email it came in, or ask the sender for a new one.
- This form is no longer available: the sender needs to fix the form.
If you need to correct something you submitted, contact the sender rather than sending it again. Your link opens only your pack, never the company's other records or anyone else's answers.
