The Users list: tabs, filters, columns and bulk actions
Find anyone in the workforce, see what each record is missing, and act on several people at once.
Users is the register of everyone in your workspace — the people working now, the ones invited, and the ones who have left. Click a row to open that person's record beside the list. See A person's record.

The header
- Check an ID card: verify a worker's digital ID card. See Digital ID cards.
- Pending approvals, with a count of people who have applied through the join link or Invite QR.
- The seat pill, for example "7 of 10 seats". See Seats, plans and billing.
- Add user, with its arrow for the other ways in. See Getting your team in.
- The gear (Settings): User details, Credential types, Smart groups, and — when those features are on — Digital ID card, Join link and Invite QR.
On a narrow screen, Check an ID card, Pending approvals, Settings, Add several users and Import from a spreadsheet move into the … menu, and the ways to add people into the + menu.
The tabs
- Active: people who can sign in.
- Invited: people who haven't used their invite code yet.
- Admins: owners and office admins.
- Inactive: people who have been deactivated.
- All: everyone except erased records.
- Erased: records whose personal details have been removed. This tab only appears while there is at least one. Erased records are kept out of every other tab. See When someone leaves.
Each tab shows its count.
Search and filters
Search users matches a person's name, email, mobile, team, trade and job title. Beside it are three filters:
- Capability: Driver or Non-driver.
- Access: Owner, Office admin, Supervisor, Field worker or Custom.
- Worker classification: Employee or Contractor.
The Dashboard's credential cards open this list already narrowed, with a banner such as "Showing People with expired credentials · 3". Choose Show all to clear it.
The columns
The list can show First name, Last name, Email, Mobile, Access, Worker classification, Capability, Team, Record readiness, App and Status, plus any profile fields you've switched on in User details.
- Record readiness reads Ready, or a count such as 2 gaps. Hover the count to see what's "Still needed": first name, last name, email, mobile, worker classification, job title or start date. Team, trade and manager are optional and never count as gaps.
- App shows the build of the Maliru app each person's phone last used, such as "28 · iOS", or "-" if their phone hasn't reported one (web only, or an older build). Check it before asking the whole team to update.
To change the layout, choose Columns (the column icon beside search). In Arrange columns, drag rows to reorder them and untick any you want to hide. Status can be moved but not hidden. Reset to default puts everything back. Drag the edge of a column header to change its width.
The layout is shared: "Everyone in the workspace sees this layout." Changing it changes it for your colleagues too.

Long lists end in a pager with Rows per page.
Acting on several people
Tick the boxes on the left to select people. A bar appears above the list with the count and the actions that fit what you've selected:
- Activate, when everyone selected is inactive.
- Deactivate, when everyone selected is active. It's unavailable if the selection includes you, or an owner (unless you're an owner and another active owner remains): "Owners cannot be deactivated from bulk actions."
- Demote to field user, when everyone selected is an office admin.
- Delete invitations, when everyone selected is still invited. The unclaimed invites are removed for good.
- Delete records, when everyone selected is inactive and you are an owner. Their personal details are erased and their history is kept.
- Export selected.
- Clear, to drop the selection.
Actions run person by person, and the message afterwards says how many worked, for example "3 of 4 updated." Anyone the permission rules protect is skipped rather than blocking the rest.
Exporting
Export users (CSV) (the download icon beside search) downloads everyone in the current tab, search and filters. Export selected downloads just the ticked rows. The file has first and last name, email, mobile, access, worker classification, capability, team, trade, job title, start and end dates, and status.
Importing is covered in Getting your team in.
