Cancelled by mistake? Undo within 15 seconds
A cancelled shift or route vanishes at once, but nothing is sent for 15 seconds — Undo puts it back.
A mis-click on Cancel shift used to be final: the team was told at once and the shift had to be built again from nothing. Now a cancel waits 15 seconds before it leaves the app, and you can take it back in that time.
This covers:
- one shift — its ⋯ menu › Cancel shift, or Cancel shift on its List row;
- several shifts — tick them in the List and choose Cancel selected;
- a route — Cancel route on the route, or Route actions › Cancel route on its List row.
What happens when you cancel
Confirm the cancel as usual — the confirmation itself mentions that you have a few seconds to undo it.
The shift (or route) disappears from the Schedule straight away, and a bar appears at the foot of the screen — Shift cancelled, 3 shifts cancelled or Route cancelled — counting down "Undo within 15s".

- Undo — the rows come back exactly as they were. Nothing was sent, so nobody's phone buzzed and nothing is in the audit trail.
- Dismiss — sends the cancel now, without waiting.
- Do nothing — when the countdown ends the bar shows Sending… and the cancel goes through.
Only then is the team told: "Shift cancelled: {job}" for each person on a published shift, or one "{count} of your shifts were cancelled" for someone who loses several at once. Everyone holding a published route is told "Route cancelled: {route}", unless it is already over. A cancelled draft tells nobody.
The bar stays at the foot of every screen while it counts down, so you can move to another section and still take the cancel back.
One at a time
Only one cancel is held at once. If you cancel something else while the bar is counting down, the first cancel is sent there and then, and the bar moves on to the new one. Something you've been shown as cancelled always ends up cancelled unless you choose Undo.
If the cancel fails
If the cancel can't be sent — you've lost connection, say — the rows come back and the Schedule says "The shift could not be cancelled." (or "The shifts could not be cancelled."). A route's card comes back with the reason. Try again when you're back online.
What Undo doesn't cover
Undo is for cancelling. Other changes to published shifts — moving them, changing the team, re-timing them — go out as soon as you confirm Update & notify, and the confirmation is where to stop if you're not sure. To reverse one of those, make the opposite change.
