Getting the Maliru app on your phone

Maliru works as an app on Android and iPhone and in any web browser. The app is called Maliru. It's one account wherever you use it: the same company, jobs and messages.

Android

1. Open Google Play and search for Maliru, or open Maliru on Google Play.
2. Tap Install, then open the app.
3. Sign in with your mobile number (see below).

iPhone

Open the App Store and search for Maliru. If it isn't in the store for you, use Maliru in Safari instead. It works the same way:

1. Open Safari and go to app.maliru.com.
2. Sign in with your mobile number.
3. Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, then Add. Maliru now opens from its own icon on your Home Screen, like an app.

On an iPhone, Maliru in Safari can only send you notifications once it's on your Home Screen, so don't skip step 3.

On a computer

Go to app.maliru.com in any up-to-date browser. There's nothing to install. A new company is set up here, on the web: the phone apps sign you in to a company that already exists.

maliru.com is Maliru's website and this help centre. Your workspace is always at app.maliru.com.

Signing in on your phone

Signing in on one device doesn't sign you in on another, so sign in again on your phone, even if you're already signed in on a computer:

1. Enter your mobile number: the one your company added you with, or the one you set the company up with. Check the country if your number isn't from the one shown.
2. Type the code we text you. There's no password.
3. If you see Almost there, type the invite code from your invite.

Keeping it up to date

The phone apps update through your app store. In the app, Me › Settings › Check for updates opens Maliru's page in the store. In a browser, Maliru updates when you reload the page. See Updating Maliru and finding your app version.
