Maliru for arboriculture & vegetation
Surveyed, cut and signed off, with the photos to prove it.
Tree work is planned from a survey, done by a crew with the right tickets, and argued over without photos. Maliru keeps the survey, the crew, the evidence and the sign-off on the same job, and hands a day of works to the crew as one route.

What usually goes wrong
- Survey notes, job sheets and photos in three different places
- Chainsaw and climbing tickets checked once and never again
- Clearance rounds planned on a whiteboard and changed by text
How Maliru fits
- Routes — A day of tree works or a clearance round handed to one crew as one card, confirmed with one tap.
- Eligibility — Chainsaw, felling, climbing and aerial rescue, utility arboriculture near overhead lines, powered access and pesticide tickets per person, checked before work is assigned.
- Field capture — Before-and-after photos attached to the job, offline if needed.
- Fleet & equipment — Vans, chippers and saws with their checks, custody and certificates.
- Lone worker — Timed check-ins for anyone working alone on a site; a missed one alerts the people you name: by push on every plan, text from Team, phone call on Crew.

Questions arboriculture & vegetation teams ask
Can we hold tree survey findings?
Build your survey as a form with the fields you record, such as species, condition and recommended work, and it attaches to the site. The works that follow are jobs against the same site.
Can we stop a climber without a current aerial rescue ticket going up?
Yes. Record the ticket as a credential type and set it to block at assignment. The trade pack seeds the usual NPTC tickets as editable starting points.
We cut for network operators. Can you hold the utility tickets?
Yes. The trade pack includes the NPTC utility arboriculture units (UA1, UA2.1 to UA2.3 and UA5.1) on a three-year renewal, and Utility Arborist and Utility Climbing Arborist positions that require them, so nobody without them is assigned to line clearance.
Do you map trees or vegetation?
No. Maliru records the work against sites and jobs with addresses and location stamps; tree mapping stays in your GIS or survey software.
