Maliru for lifts & escalators
A record per unit, not per invoice.
An independent lift company competes with the majors on response and on paperwork. Maliru keeps each unit's service history, its statutory examination dates and its call-out record on one asset, so an engineer arrives knowing what the last one found.

What usually goes wrong
- Service history spread across job sheets nobody can search by unit
- Statutory examination dates tracked in a spreadsheet away from the job
- Call-outs taken by phone and written up from memory at the end of the week
How Maliru fits
- Workstreams — Routine servicing, call-outs and modernisation as separate job types, each with its own fields and statuses.
- Assets — Each lift as a record, with its service visits, inspections and evidence gathered against it over time.
- Inspections — Scheduled examinations that appear as work rather than as a reminder somebody has to act on.
- Offline capture — Reports completed in machine rooms and lift pits, saved on the device, sent when the app reconnects.
- Service contracts — Every lift on record with its service history, planned visits that raise themselves, and entrapment call-outs on their own clock.

Questions lifts & escalators teams ask
Can we see everything done to one lift?
Yes. Each unit is an asset record, and its service visits, inspections, photos and reports gather against it. An engineer opens the unit and sees what the last visit found.
Does it track LOLER examination dates?
You define your own inspection schedules with their intervals, and the due examination appears as work on the schedule. Maliru does not certify anything; it schedules the visit and holds the record.
Do engineers need signal in a lift pit?
No. Form drafts save locally and submitted reports queue with attachments, with sending retried when the app reconnects or reopens.
