The price our first customers pay, and keep paying for as long as they stay subscribed, including when they move between Team and Crew or between monthly and yearly billing. It is open to every new customer until we close it, and we will post the closing date here at least 30 days ahead.

No. Every module is included on every plan, Free included, and you pay by the number of users. The plans differ in depth: limits on Free, full working depth on Team, and the contract, contractor and compliance work on Crew.

Depth, not modules. Free has every module for five people, with owner and field worker roles, one workstream, five invoices and five exports a month, three alert rules, two active share packs, 2 GB of storage and three AI form drafts. Employee pay runs on one pay calendar, lone worker alarms go by push, and licence checks warn you before you schedule someone who isn't qualified. Documents carry Maliru's branding. Reaching a limit never removes anything you have set up — it asks before the next one.

Team runs your business: every module without Free's limits, AI, Marie's answers from your records, your own branding, supervisors and office admins, fuel cards, recurring costs and bills, and alarm texts. Choose Crew when you work to contracts or pay subcontractors: service contracts with SLAs, contractor pay and withholding, applications for payment, purchase orders, stock, inductions and monitored lone worker, with Marie's reminders and the changes she prepares for you. Crew also includes 40 users to Team's 15, and each extra user costs less.

On Crew, a contract with a client can carry service levels: response and fix times, SLA clocks that warn before a breach, planned maintenance, the client's equipment on record, SLA reports for the client, and invoicing of the contract's fee.

No. On every plan, Maliru works out each employee's gross pay from the field record and hands it to your payroll provider as a file it imports; Free runs one pay calendar, Team and Crew any number. Your provider works out tax and take-home pay, issues the payslips, files and pays your employees. On Crew, Maliru also pays contractors: it works out what is withheld and produces self-bill statements and a file for your bank; you make the payments. Maliru never moves money and never files anything with a tax authority, and the rates it suggests for your country are yours to confirm before a run uses them.

Every plan has timed check-ins and a Get help button, and a missed check-in or a press alerts the people you name by push. Team adds alarm texts. Crew adds the monitored service: alarm calls, welfare calls to the worker with check-in and duress codes, journey monitoring and what3words. It's a check-in timer with escalation: there's no monitoring centre and no fall or man-down detection.

Marie is Maliru's AI assistant inside the app. Press Ctrl+K (⌘K on a Mac) and ask. On every plan she helps with how Maliru works, and typing a name or number finds the record straight away. On Team she also answers from your workspace's own records: who's on site, what's waiting, which vans are off the road, with the records one click away. On Crew and Enterprise she sets reminders and watches, remembers what you ask her to, and prepares changes, such as recording sickness or moving someone on a visit, that you confirm. She sees and does only what the person asking may, the owner switches her on first, and nothing is used to train AI models.

AI reviews of submissions, the readers that turn a supplier bill or a garage invoice into a draft, and each change Marie makes once you confirm it: one action a change, and at most 5 for several changes confirmed together. Drafting a form with AI does not, and neither do Marie's answers, help or reminders, which have fair-use daily limits instead. Team includes 500 actions a month and Crew 2,000; the count resets on the 1st, and a top-up adds 500 more for £30.

Pounds if your workspace operates in the UK, euros in Ireland and the rest of the European Union, and US dollars everywhere else. You see your own currency here and in the app. A subscription keeps the currency it started in, so a workspace that already pays in dollars carries on in dollars.

You pay ten months' price for twelve months of service — that's the 17% saving. Billed once a year through Stripe.

There's no countdown trial, because Free isn't one — it's free forever for five people, with every module. Start there, then move to Team or Crew from inside the app when you need the seats or the depth. No card until you do.

Moving up is self-serve, any time, from inside the app. Moving to a smaller plan is arranged on a quick call with our team, so you know exactly what changes; ask from the app and we will be in touch, usually within one working day. It takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.
