Maliru for water & wastewater
Every station's service history, in one place.
Pump stations fail out of hours and get serviced on a cycle. Maliru keeps the planned rota, the emergency call-out and the station's own history on one record, so whoever turns up at 2am knows what the last visit found.

What usually goes wrong
- Emergency call-outs logged in one place and planned servicing in another
- Hygiene cards and confined space training chased after an engineer is already on site
- Station history held by whichever engineer has been there most
How Maliru fits
- Workstreams — Planned servicing, emergency call-outs and installation as separate job types with their own fields and priorities.
- Assets — Each station as a record, carrying its services, its faults and its parts over time.
- Permits & credentials — Water hygiene cards, confined space and electrical qualifications per engineer, with a block on assignment where you want one.
- Offline capture — Reports completed in chambers and wet wells, saved on the device, sent when the app reconnects.
- Lone worker — Timed check-ins for an engineer alone at a pump station at 2am; a missed one alerts the people you name: by push on every plan, text from Team, phone call on Crew.
- Service contracts — Planned asset maintenance on a cycle, reactive faults on response and fix targets, and the client report built from the record.

Your board, shaped for water & wastewater
Two workstreams a water & wastewater operation typically runs, with the columns and statuses it would name. Rename anything; import your own sheet and Maliru builds the board from it.

Questions water & wastewater teams ask
Can we stop someone being sent without a hygiene card?
Yes. Record it as a credential type with its expiry and set enforcement to block at assignment, so the office is told before the job is handed over rather than after.
Does it handle out-of-hours work?
Call-outs are their own workstream with their own priorities, and assignment and confirmation work the same way at 2am as at 2pm.
Is there a history per station?
Yes. The station is an asset record and every visit stays against it, so an engineer opens it and sees what was done last time.
