Maliru for electrical & EV charging
Installed, tested and handed over, on one record.
An electrical contractor's paperwork is the proof the job is safe. Maliru keeps the installation, the test results, the photos and the electrician's qualifications on the same job, so the handover pack is the record rather than a folder put together afterwards.

What usually goes wrong
- Test results written on paper and typed into a certificate days later
- ECS cards and 18th Edition qualifications checked once at interview and never again
- Charger installs, call-outs and testing scheduled in three places
How Maliru fits
- Workstreams — Installations, EV charger fits, testing and call-outs as separate job types, each with its own fields and statuses.
- Forms — Your test schedule and installation checklist as forms, with readings, photos and the customer's signature captured on site.
- Eligibility — ECS cards, 18th Edition, inspection and testing and EV charging qualifications per electrician, checked at assignment, dispatch or clock-in as each rule is set.
- Offline capture — Readings and photos taken in a plant room or a basement, saved on the device and sent when the app reconnects.
- Invoicing — Installs and call-outs priced on your rate card and invoiced to each client from approved measures.
- Service contracts — Periodic testing and charger maintenance raised as visits on each site's cycle, fault call-outs on response and fix targets, and the client's report built from the jobs.

Questions electrical & EV charging teams ask
Does Maliru produce the electrical certificate?
You build your test schedule and installation checklist as forms with the fields you use today, and Maliru captures them on site and stores them against the job. It does not issue certificates in a scheme's own format or notify building control for you.
Can we stop an unqualified electrician being sent?
Yes. Record ECS cards and qualifications as credential types and set each rule to warn or block at assignment, dispatch or clock-in. The trade pack seeds the usual ones as editable starting points.
Do you connect to charger networks or back offices?
Not today. Maliru holds the installation, the evidence and the visits; charger monitoring stays in the platform you use for it.
